Mission 2019- Shah to visit Chennai on 9 July

For the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, on 9 July, BJP president Amit Shah will visit Chennai to prepare the state unit.
As party national general secretary, P Muralidhar Rao told that Tamil Nadu as part of Amit Shah’s nationwide tour. in this visit, Amit Shah will also meet the BJP party senior leaders and make strategy with them for upcoming 2019 Elections.
P Muralidhar Rao also gave a statement on the BJP National president Amit Shah, he said that during this visit Shah would collect all the inputs as for how the voter’s attention would be grabbed by the party and how to increase the vote banks for upcoming election 2019.
According to P Muralidhar Rao, during the visit to Chennai, Shah would meet and share the party’s target for the next five months with the important and well-known people of BJP and also those people who are in charge at the booth level and also other office bearers.
P Muralidhar Rao further added that for the upcoming election in Tamil Nadu is very important and it’s now on the threshold of a new era, as the old leadership of parties which have ruled for the last 50 years has changed.
P Muralidhar Rao also said that For the upcoming polls, BJP is doing the same groundwork for the polls nationwide as in Tamil Nadu and Amit Shah is traveling to every state to review of the situation.
Assembly polls will be held on 12th May in Karnataka. Although P Muralidhar Rao said that ”BJP could not form the government in the state, the number of seats it won had grown manifold from 40 to 104, while that Congress had been reduced from 122 to 78 and the JD(S), from 42 to 37”.
“This was what we wanted in south India. After this victory, Congress as a national party has disappeared from the south. It has lost Kerala… decades back it lost its position in Tamil Nadu… it was decimated in Andhra Pradesh and lost power in Telangana. As a national party, it is only the BJP which is capable of becoming a player in south India,” he said.
Therefore, the 2019 election was crucial and important for the BJP, which is taking its poll preparation for Tamil Nadu very seriously, he said.
“I do not rule out an alliance. At the national level also, the number of parties will increase, but not come down,” P Muralidhar Rao said.
