Since few years, there have been several situations when Indians were far gone insulted on e-commerce websites, the various pathways of insults include printing Indian flags on doormats and selling them online, selling stickers of Hindu goddesses that are quite distasteful, and much more.

Individuals tried to raise concerns regarding the issue, but there is no fruitful result that has been acknowledged so far.

Now, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has stepped forward taking serious action on the concerned online shopping websites, especially Amazon. It is assumed that these prominent ministers took the issue directly to the CEO and board of Amazon then brought down the new norms that limit the possibilities and sustain the integrity of the globalization.

As per the sources, the sellers were actually the 3rd party groups (CafePress), however, this insensitive act made Indians furious. Initially, Sushma Swaraj threatened the Amazon authorities on nullifying the visas, she even demanded an official apology from the Canadian branch.

In a recent development, certain documents were discovered according to which the authorities of Indian government approached Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon and forced him to conduct a global audit to make sure such things don’t happen again.

In these documents, the company also listed slippers with the emblem printed on them. Within 24 hours, all the products were removed by Amazon and an apology was submitted to the Indian government.

According to the sources, certain developments proceeded in which notable measures are taken on monitoring the products that will be sold by the 3rd party vendors. It is further quoted that Amazon has now made Indian laws that govern the national flag usage and other emblems ‘An integral part of the global compliance process’, quite legitimately.
