MS Dhoni’s Fans Troll Rishabh Pant On Twitter After India’s Loss Against SL
Rishabh Pant, who is being considered as a replacement for the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni got trolled brutally on Twitter for his performance in the first Twenty20 game against Sri Lanka in which he scored 23 of 23 balls with a strike rate of 100.
This below par performance by the Indian Cricket team against Sri Lanka in Colombo on Tuesday lost India the game in the first Nidahas T20 Tri-series at the Premadasa Stadium. Indian fans were very disappointed with the performances of the young players in the absence of India’s top players like Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni.
The fans of MS Dhoni took on to Twitter after the India’s loss and targeted Rishabh Pant, the young left-handed batsman touted as the replacement for MS Dhoni.
Commentator Harsha Bhogle tweeted about Pant’s innings calling it was another ‘learning day for young Rishabh Pant in the international cricket. Former Indian cricketer and now the commentator Akash Chopra sensed the mood of the fans on Twitter and tweeted how people are happy at Pant not having a great game.
174 may even be enough but India shouldn’t be happy with it. When one player makes 90 in 8 overs, you want to be scoring 185-190. Been a learning day again for young Rishabh Pant in international cricket.

Also, it’s incredible to see how many people are happy with Rishabh Pant not having a great game. Imagine if the world wanted you to fail when you were 20. #SLvIND

Akash was right of course. Many people were indeed happy that Pant did not have a good game in yesterday’s match. However, majority are MS Dhoni’s fans who trolled Rishabh Pant for his bad performance in the yesterday’s game.
Twitter was filled with people poking trolls at the young 20-year old and mocked his innings that ran at 100 SR. Here are some of the Twitter reactions.
Rishabh Pant 18 in 20 balls, truly a potential replacement for Dhoni. India’s future in safe (slow) hands.

If dhoni would have played same inning, he would have been made to retire on the ground itself. #rishabhpant #SLvIND

23 runs of 23 balls in a T20 with a strike rate of 100. Dhoni should retire.
