Mukesh Ambani’s eldest son Akash Ambani is all set to become a groom this year. He works as a chief strategist to Jio and also a managing director of Reliance Industries Limited. If sources are to be believed he is all set to marry Shloka Mehta who is the youngest daughter of diamantaire Russel Mehta and Mona Mehta. Russel is the head of Rosy Blue Diamonds.

While both the families refused to comment on the matter, as per the sources engagement is going to take place within the next two to three weeks and they will get married by the end of the December. Ambani’s and Mehta’s have known each other for quite some time now and even the rumored bride and the groom have studied together at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Though the emails sent to Rosy Blue Diamonds and Ambani’s spokesperson remained unanswered a source close to families revealed that

“No dates of either the wedding or engagement of Akash Ambani have been finalized”. As and when any good news is to be shared, the family will be delighted to share with everyone. Importantly and to reaffirm that as and when any wedding is finalized, it will only be in India”. The engagement is believed to be happening on March 24th in India only.

Shloka after completing her schooling in Dhirubhai Ambani International School went to Princeton to continue her education. She studied Anthropology in Princeton and then studied Masters in Law at The London School of Economics and Political Science. She currently works as a director in Rosy Blue Diamonds, and a co-founder of a startup called ConnectFor which allocates Volunteers to NGO’s.
