Mumbai: Man Carrying Rs. 16.64 Lakhs Was Looted And Beaten Up By 2 Men

Police Report: A cashier who works for a private company was on his way to deposit Rs. 16.64 lakhs in two banks when 2 men approached him and started to beat him up and stole the money he was carrying.

The cashier has been identified as Sashikant Chavan, he works as a cashier for a distributor in Ulhasnagar, he said that he was on his way to the banks on his scooter and was carrying Rs. 16.64 lakhs with him.

He added that 2 men stopped him and started to beat him up. The 2 men, later on, brought him to an area near the Ambvili Station and stole the Rs. 16.64 lakhs.

The police said that the 2 unidentified men got away by using the scooter of Sashikant Chavan.

A team has been assigned for the case, as of now, no arrests have been made by the police.
