Mumbai Police Reunites Elderly Woman With Family,Twitterati Can’t Stop Praising Their Sincerity!
India’s police force is often slammed for several reasons with corruption, incompetence and brutality against people being common. But there are few cops who spread hope with their honesty and dedication to their duty and have been lauded for it.
And one of its kind is Mumbai Police which is known for its utmost dedication and sincerity it has shown towards the welfare of its citizens. In addition, it owns an active Twitter handle with a large number of followers and keeps on sharing optimistic stories together with lessons worth remembering for a lifetime.
As usual, recently the men in uniform have proved to be very helpful and once again, they have done something which will make you salute them out of respect.
This time, the officers in Khaki helped an elderly woman unite with her family, and promptly shared the news on the micro-blogging site. Not surprisingly, love and respect came pouring in for them from all sides.
As per the Mumbai Police, the name of the old woman is P. Adhikari who got separated from family four days prior to being reunited with them. Although she knows five different types of languages, she couldn’t remember her address or anything about her family.
However, the Sakinaka police station officers managed to bring her back to her family members, in spite of her inability to remember anything.
Their thoughtful action and timely intervention was lauded by many on Twitter. People appreciated how the Mumbai Police was sincere enough to ensure that the elderly woman reached home safely.
