New Delhi: 50-Year-Old Man Arrested In Arthala Metro Station For Carrying A Pistol And 3 Bullets

Police Report: On Monday, the Delhi Police arrested 50-year-old Raj Kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, from the Arthala Metro Station for carrying a pistol and three bullets in his bag.

Officers of the CISF arrested Raj Kumar at the Arthala Metro Station by 11:30 AM after his baggage gone through a scanner.

The scanner detected the pistol in his bag, officials said that he also had 3 bullets in his bag.

The Arthala Metro Station is on the red line of the DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) and is located in Ghaziabad.

50-year-old Raj Kumar was handed over to the police by the CISF men.

Officials have launched a probe for the incident.

Carrying weapons and ammunition in the Delhi Metro is prohibited by the state’s law.
