NMTC Eligibility Criteria 2018: Education Qualification, Age Limit – NMTC is conducting every year by the Association Of Mathematics Teacher Of India and it is organising and conducting many activities such as NMTC (National Mathematics Talent Contest), GAT (Grand Achievement Test). AMTI is also conducting programmes at the national and international level that are IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) and (Indian National Mathematical Olympiad).
The Association Of Mathematics Teacher Of India is arranging Exposure Programmes for talented candidates and organising seminars, workshops and orientation courses for teachers, national conferences in different parts of the country to deliberate and explain on important issues of mathematics education and also giving different mathematics teacher award to teachers and enterprising of mathematics.
The students those who belong to junior colleges, school, technological institution, degree colleges and any other boards included CBSE are all eligible for National Mathematics Talent Contests exams, but the eligible classes are divided into the levels or group. The AMTI (Association Of Mathematics Teacher Of India) is divided into five levels named as Primary, Sub-junior, junior, inter and senior. In primary level is made by 5th and 6th standards, sub-junior is made by 7th and 8th standards, the junior is made by 9th and 10th standards, interlevel is made by and 12th standards and senior level are made by degree classes such as science, arts and commerce. According to the NMTC exams or contests, the five levels or groups are named by gauss contest, kaprekar contest, Bhaskara contest, Ramanujan contest and Aryabhata contest as primary level, sub-junior level, junior level, interlevel and senior level respectively.
In India, there are many languages that are used in different cities and states of the country. The examinations in India are also held or conducted in different languages, but the AMTI which is conducting every year National Mathematics Talent Contest exams to discover and encourage the talented student of mathematics is conducted the NMTC exams in selected languages such as Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil or Telugu and English, but the medium for senior level is English only.
