Sasha Obama, the younger daughter of US President Barack Obama, is taking some time off from the comforts of the White House to work at a seafood joint in Massachusetts. US first daughter Sasha decided to come out of the limelight.

She is working on the takeaway counter, Sasha Obama’s other duties reportedly include waiting on tables and helping to prepare the restaurant for its lunchtime opening. Her security team has been seen waiting nearby in a large car or sitting on benches while the First Daughter deals with tourists’ meals.

The Obamas’ youngest daughter has been working an early four-hour shift at the busy, 350-seat restaurant, finishing up just a half hour after it opens for business at 11.30 a.m.

A server in the restaurant said: “She has been working downstairs at the takeout. We were wondering why there were six people helping this girl, but then we found out who it was.”

According to the BBC, photographs show Sasha wearing the restaurant’s uniform of blue T-shirt and cap and working at a till. The Obamas have been attempting to raise their daughters as normally as possible, which may be why they are letting Sasha get a taste of working a summer job in a restaurant. After seeing this everyone like Obama even more.

The 15-year-old was photographed at Nancy’s restaurant in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts in full uniform behind a cashier. Malia has now graduated high school and is due to take a gap year before enrolling at Harvard University in 2017.
