OPINION: How Bharat Bandh on August 9 Will Affect RRB Group C Exam? Railway Recruitment Board last week announced that it will initiate RRB Group C Exams from 9 August 2018 onwards. And, this week NDA ally warns Modi govt of intense protests of Dalit, Adivasi communities on the same day.
Following this, lakhs of candidates are worried if this agitation doesn’t allow them to attempt their one of the most awaited examinations of the career. After declaring RRB Results on December 7, 2016, two years back, Board of Controller of Examinations, Railway Recruitment Board has decided to conduct RRB Group C and RRB Group D Examinations.
In this recruitment nearly 90,000 vacancies. Official statements also disclosed that more than 2 crore application forms have been received in the procedure of RRB ALP, RRB Technician, RRB Other Groups Application Form filling.
Lakhs of appearing candidates are there who’ve got their examination centres in different states from the native ones. They’re nothing but worried if they will successfully be able to attempt the Online CBT (Computer Based Test) on 9th August 2018 or not. Officials have confirmed that selection of examination centre is purely done by candidates at the time of filling up of Online Application Form.
Authoritative statistics have confirmed that 20 lakh aspirants from Uttar Pradesh, 19 Lakh from Bihar and 6 Lakh from Rajasthan, MP and other states have applied for this examination earlier this year. 9.5 Lakh candidates have successfully appeared from Uttar Pradesh. And, out of them, 6.5 Lakh have been allotted home centres and remaining ones have been assigned away centres.
Yesterday was the last date for candidates to make changes/ improvement in the uploaded photographs in the Application Form. Along with this, recently board also released RRB Group C Mock Test Link online on an official website. This is in continuation with the publication of Exam Centres List of RRB Group C, D with Admit Cards online.
Section wise details of Railway Recruitment Board says – Question Paper will incorporate 20 Questions from Mathematics, 25 Questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, 20 Questions from General Science and 10 Questions from General Awareness and Current Affairs.
