OYO Hotel Manager Rapes Woman In Her Husband’s Absence
With the days passing, we’re only going worse in terms of moral values. These days one cannot pass a day or turn a news paper’s page without acknowledging a molestation or rape incident. After all, a surprising growth is observed in the number of assault cases recently. Despite the strong amendments and stud transformations, authorities are simply unable to tackle the issue persistently.
Though there are certain incidents in which women take the adverse advantage of the leniency of laws that are bluntly against men, there are no unconventional possibilities in the majority of situations. Starting from the assault case that shocked everyone which has happened in Kerala’s Kozhikode, a teen was beaten up in Mumbai’s streets. Now, after all, a woman got raped in the popular OYO hotel at Uttar Pradesh, the rapist is none other than the hotel manager himself.
The 22-year-old victim’s husband was away when this happened. The couple had been living in OYO rooms as she was recovering from an illness and the doctors had advised her to take rest before she returned to her home. The accused Raghav (28), is a native of Ghamroj village in Haryana and works as a demand manager in the hotel.
The incident has taken place when the couple was supposed to shift to a different room. “She (the victim) asked him to wait until her husband returned from work”, a senior police officer said, he further added that she was unwell and had lost her consciousness.
“At around 11.45 pm, Raghav barged into her room. When she regained her senses, she realized she had been raped. She called Raghav who admitted to his crime when she threatened to approach the police,” the officer added.

The accused was arrested on Wednesday. He reportedly confessed to the crime and has been remanded to judicial custody,” added the cop.
