Plane Crashes in Mumbai; 5 Killed in Plane Crash

The chartered plane was crashed today in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar. The plane was carrying four people. All the 4 members have died when the plane fell crushing another pedestrian.

 

 

The model of the plane was Beechcraft King C90. The plane was damaged entirely while crashing. The plane was previously owned by the Uttar Pradesh government but was sold to Mumbai Based company named UY aviation back in 2014.

Suresh Prabhu who is the Union Minister of Civil Aviation expressed the profound shock on the plane crash incident.

Statment From Civil Aviation Ministry

“ The minister has directed the concerned officials to rush to the accident spot in Ghatkopar area in Mumbai and provide all possible help and assistance. DGCA has been asked to conduct an investigation into the plane crash.”

All the officials who are present at the place of the crash fail to identify the passengers till now. Some reports from the Ghatkopar stated that the black box of the aircraft was recovered.

 

 

From the reports of the ABP news here are the names of those who died:
Co-pilot- Pradeep Rajput, Technician- Surabhi, Pilot- Maria Kuber and Technician Manish Pandey.

Two other people were injured in this plane crash named Luvkush Sharma and Naresh Kumar Nishad.

The reports are not yet cleared about the 5th person who was died in this aircraft crash in Ghatkopar Mumbai. According to the reports among onboard two were women and other 3 is men.

Statement of Eye Witness

“We heard Two explosions, and we thought it was a blast”one of the eyewitnesses give this statement to TV channels.

DGCA team is now on its way of investigation of a plane crash which killed 5 people including one pedestrian.

The incident took place today at 1:00 pm.

ANI reports stated that the Mumbai Fire Brigade has been rushed to the place of an Aircraft crash. Apart from this Principal secretary Avinash Awasthi said that the aircraft which was crashed does not belong to Uttar Pradesh Government.

 

 

It is still unknown that the aircraft is crashed or the pilot is attempting the emergency landing. All the questions can only be answered after the DGCA team submits the report of a plane crash to Civil Aviation Ministry.
