The Education Body CBSE, which has been ignoring complaints related to the reports that some question papers were leaked for days, had to cancel on Monday two question papers which includes the economics exam of Class 12.

The decision to cancel those papers was taken hours after the Class 10 mathematics paper leak happened and was being circulated on social media.

The minister also spoke the fact that the papers were leaked after just half-an-hour before the examination timing.

However, police sources, suggest that this is not actually the case with it.

A police officer opined that the leak of the examination papers appear to have happened in the evening before the two examinations.

A police official statement carried that the Education Body, CBSE had registered the first case pertaining to the leak of economics paper yesterday, while the case related to the mathematics paper was filed today because of the complaint lodged by the regional director of CBSE.

Reports about the leak of economics paper had circulated on social media, which includes WhatsApp, some hours before the paper commenced on Monday.

The Education Body CBSE, however, denied any kind of paper leak and urged students and parents not to get panicked.

“We have checked with all exam centres and the paper was not leaked. The source of circulation of this information is not known yet. We want to urge the students and parents to not panic and assure them that the board is doing its best to ensure sanctity of the examination,” a senior CBSE official had informed.
