His allegations were countered by Ms. Sitharaman that all charges were absolutely wrong and further added that the agreement initially for the deal which contained the secrecy clause was signed when the UPA alliance was in power at the center back in 2008.
According to the BJP leaders, Mr. Gandhi’s accusations that PM Modi benefited one industrialist in the Rafale deal and ‘betrayed’ the Army of India in Doklam were among those several defamatory allegations against Prime Minister Modi that he made. The motion of privilege by them against him would also include all these “unsubstantiated” charges.
The NDA government at the center had inked a deal with France-based Dassault Aviation to buy 36 Rafale jets.
Rahul Gandhi had put up many allegations against Prime Minister Modi during his speech in parliament. After his stunt, he went towards the Prime Minister and gave him a hug indicating that he just wanted to convey his message against the misdoings of the government and is not against anyone personally.
