The festival of Eid seems to be booked for Bollywood’s Dabangg Khan, Salman Khan. So, come Eid 2019 and the fans of Bhaijaan will be treated with his another film titled, ‘Bharat’ which is being helmed by filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar.

After a lot of rumors and speculations regarding the female lead of this very mature and romantic love story, it was recently revealed that Priyanka Chopra has been finalized as the leading lady of “Bharat”.

Priyanka Chopra, who is juggling between her popular TV show and other Hollywood releases, is finally ready to make her Bollywood comeback. The Global star is back to Mumbai, and she will soon begin shooting for her next Bollywood project.
Salman and Priyanka will reunite on silver screen after a gap of 10 years. They have previously worked together in ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ (2004), ‘Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love’ (2007) and ‘God Tussi Great Ho!’ (2008).

The fact that their jodi is coming together after such a long time will surely be exciting news for their fans.
Recently Salman Khan took to Twitter and welcomed Priyanka in his own style via tweet and cheekily reminded her that the film is in Hindi, taking a jibe at her for being away from Bollywood for too long. Salman tweeted “#Bharat .. welcomes u back home @priyankachopra . See u soon .. By the way humari film Hindi hai. @atulreellife @aliabbaszafar #Eid2019” (“#Bharat .. welcomes u back home @priyankachopra . See u soon .. By the way it’s a Hindi movie”).

But Priyanka, who never fails to impress us with her witty statements, had an epic reply for Salman. She said “UP Bareilly की पली बड़ी हूँ जनाब… (Sir, I’ve been brought up in Bareilly, UP). #DesiGirl forever. Very happy to be a part of #Bharat and see all of u on set!! @beingsalmankhan @atulreellife @aliabbaszafar #Eid2019 (sic).”

Bharat is an official adaptation of the 2014 Korean film Ode to My Father which depicted modern Korean history from the 1950s to the present day through the life of an ordinary man. Salman will be essaying the role of an ordinary man in the movie. This is the actor’s third collaboration with the director after the duo delivered hits like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. The shooting for the film will begin in June. Bharat will be shot in quite a few locations including Punjab, Mumbai, Delhi, Spain and Abu Dhabi.
