Puri Jagannadh’s film with Kalyan Ram ISM released worldwide on Friday. The director is now busy with a couple of interviews. In a recent interview, Puri shared his opinion about Remake movies.

Puri Jagannadh made some shocking statements about remakes. He raised a point of introducing new talent into the industry. He always introduces new talent in his films and the director never made a remake movie in his career till date.

Puri said: “If there is a risk taking capacity a person can go any far….if a director feels Kajal and Samantha like people are the safe bet, he can never introduce new faces. It’s the same for heroes too if there is a fire to do in new heroes new stories and scripts will be born. If a hero fears risk and goes for a remake ideas won’t be born”.

The director has never worked on remake film and feels that rather than doing remakes it is best to stand with the own one and make it for others to do the same. The director also says that if the hero is confident about himself, then he should go with taking the risks rather than doing the remakes.
