Rahul Gandhi Made An Unacceptable Comment On The Uri Martyrs, Twitterati Reacts Badly
After the horrible Uri attack by Pakistan, Indian Government thought of giving a serious reply and planned the surgical strikes. Surgical strikes carried out were a bold reply to the repeated violations by Pakistan. This step of surgical strikes erupted a wave of nationalism and many considered it to be the right step.
But the problem is that big decisions create bigger controversies. Firstly, the surgical strikes being a fake started doing the rounds on media. It created discussions on whether the strikes happened or not.
Sanjay Nirupam of Congress party commented on these strikes being a fake. And the latest politician to join is Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi.
Rahul Gandhi was delivering a speech at Jantar Mantar and in the process; he made a statement that has caused a major controversy.
“Humare Jawan Hai Jinhone Khoon Diya Hai, Jinhone Surgical Strikes Kiya, Unke Khoon Ke Peeche Aap (Modi) Chuppe Huye Hai.” (Our soldiers conducted surgical strikes and gave their blood. Modi is just hiding behind their sacrifices).

BJP National Secretary Shrikant Sharma stated on this derogatory comment.
“It is most shameful. Such remarks reflect his mental bankruptcy. The army and the Prime Minister are getting praise from everywhere for the surgical strikes. Modi is being praised fo his decision and he is unable to digest it. Rahul Gandhi is in frustration.”
