RBI Now Relieves The Cash Withdrawal Limit from Rs 24,000 To Rs 50,000 Per Week, Applicable From Feb 20

90 days after demonetization, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) now finally made a major progress on cash withdrawal limit. From standing in the queues for the whole half day and facing difficulties with withdrawal limits, the journey is quite long and tough.

In a fresh statement released by the finance supremo RBI, it is mentioned that the saving accounts holders now don’t have to worry about the cash withdrawal issues. Beginning with the withdrawal limit Rs 2000 during the November and Decembers, the limit is further increased to Rs 10,000 per day and Rs 24,000 per week in January.

Following the constant progress and gradual developments, the withdrawal limit is now appreciable, according to the ‘just in’ notice from RBI.

The notice read that the cash withdrawal limit is Rs 50,000 per week for all the Savings account holders, the updated norms will be implemented from February 20. It is further mentioned that the withdrawal limit will be totally lifted from March 13, 2017.
