We have seen the children from the first marriage of Boney Kapoor actively involving in all the proceedings of the Sridevi’s death. Both Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor have been there right from the beginning and lending their complete support to the bereaved family. But, also, we have noticed that the family of Sridevi have been quiet.

A few days after the death of the legendary actress, it was reported that the sister of Sridevi, Srilatha would come outbreak the silence revealing some critical details regarding Sridevi. However, almost even after 15 days the demise of Sridevi, Srilatha still remains tight-lipped. Finally, the real reason for the silence of Sridevi is revealed. According to a recent report, Srilatha was asked to maintain silence.

The report that revealed said that the properties from the earnings of Sridevi were actually registered in the name of her parents considering tax issues.

However, the relation of Sridevi with her immediate family had never been peaceful. The sisters had disputes over the proper and both of them were involved in legal battles many years ago. It is only after the involvement of Boney Kapoor, both the siblings had buried their differences and had a cordial relationship.

Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, along with their friend Manish Malhotra and other friends have immersed the parts of Sridevi’s ashes in the holy Ganga in Haridwar on March 8, and there was a similar ritual performed in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu on March 4 where Boney Kapoor was accompanied by Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor.

For those who are not initiated with the report, legendary actress Sridevi died on February 24 because of an accidental drowning in a bathtub in a hotel room in Dubai. Boney Kapoor went to Dubai along with the family to attend the wedding of Mohit Marwah, his relative. It took three days after her death of the 54-year-old actress to bring back the body following the clearances from the Dubai Police Station. Many people gathered outside the house of Sridevi to pay their last respects.
