The ‘Premam’ fame actress Sai Pallavi has been the successful actress in the early stages of her career. She is now very happy with her ‘Diya’ movie success. Sai Pallavi has already joined the sets of her next project starring opposite to Dhanush. ‘Maari 2’ which is the sequel to the film ‘maari’ which starred Kajal Agarwal in the main female lead role. Now, Sai Pallavi will star opposite to Dhanush in the sequel of ‘Maari’.

Maari 2 is an upcoming gangster comedy love genre. The latest buzz is that the actress will apparently be seen playing an auto driver role in the film. So, according to the reports, it is known that Sai Pallavi is reportedly playing a role of an auto driver on the screen. Apparently, the Fida actress is already done with her training in driving an auto.

However, nothing of this news is officially confirmed by any of the cast or crew of the film ‘Maari 2’. Despite the Kollywod strike, it is announced that the 45% of the film shoot is completed and the remaining part of the film may also be completed as soon as possible. The film is on the sets completing its schedules and this would be a wrap very soon. Sai Pallavi has recently celebrated her birthday on the sets of Maari 2 along with actor Dhanush, director, and the whole cast and crew.

The film ‘Maari 2’ is being directed by Balaji Mohan, who helmed the first part of ‘Maari’. This is touted to be the sequel of that film which was released in the year of 2014. It starred Dhanush and Kajal Agarwal in the main lead roles. The cast of the Maari 2 includes Dhanush, Sai Pallavi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Tovino Thomas, Krishna and Robo Shankar.

Maari was produced by Dhanush Wunderbar films and the sequel of the film ‘Maari 2’ will also be produced under his banners by Dhanush Wunderbar films only. The music for this film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film ‘Maari 2’ is expected to be on the screens by the end of this year 2018.
