Salman Khan Found Guilty In Blackbuck Poaching Case and Charged With 5years Imprisonment!!
Salman Khan who is often referred as the Bhai of the Bollywood industry is stuck in a huge trouble now. This star is now found guilty in a 2decade old blackbuck poaching case. During the film shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hai at Kankani village in Jodhpur, Salman Khan along with Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Tabu along with a local Dushyant Singh went into the jungle and Salman Khan was accused of killing two blackbucks.
The Bishnoi Sabha who are committed towards the protection of these blackbucks filed a case against all the actors present in the scenario. The judge gave a verdict in favour to the Bishnoi Sabha and declared Salman Khan as the convict and charged a fine of Rs.10,000 along with 5years of imprisonment. As soon as the verdict was out, his sisters, Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Agnihotri broke down in tears though Salman tried to console them.
Currently, Salman is taken for a medical examination and he will be shifted soon to the Jodhpur Central Jail. Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre who were also accused in the case were acquitted by the court and left the court as the court has cleared their names from the case. There was a huge argument in the court of law by the prosecution who wanted Salman to face the maximum punishment of 6years as per wildlife protection act.
Though the actor’s bail is moved forward, it will be heard on Friday 10.28am and hence the actor had to spend a night in the Jodhpur Central Jail itself.
Salman Khan’s film producers are currently in a dilemma as there is no clarity if Salman will come out taking a bail. Salman Khan is currently busy with the movie Race 3 which is expected to get released on this Eid. While he is also acting in movies like Bharat, Kick 2, Dabangg 3 and also as a host in Bigg Boss 12. If Salman Khan stays imprisoned for 5years, then Bollywood will definitely see a loss in terms of collections.
