Shambulal Says ‘What I Did Was Right, No Regret’ In A Video Recorded From Jail
Do you remember the man who brutally burnt a Muslim man to death d made a video of the entire incident and uploaded it on social media platforms?
Shambu Lal Regar, from Rajasthan, was seen murdering a man in a viral video which was circulated on micro-blogging sites like WhatsApp and Facebook. He is back with another video, now reportedly from inside the Jodhpur Central Jail.
He was arrested in December for murdering and burning the body of a Muslim migrant laborer from West Bengal, under the pretext of ‘Love Jihad’. Following the incident, he was arrested and lodged in Prison.
In the new video, he can be seen inside what looks like the prison. It seems like the murderer is reading a note. He says that he does not regret what he had done as he did so to protect Hinduism. He also explained how another inmate was lodged in the same cell as him and he apparently was being very vocal about his ‘anti-Islam’ thoughts.
Shambu Lal said that the inmate was trying to get close to him and felt something wrong with the man. He went on to say that one day he checked his inmate’s private part while bathing and saw that the man was circumcised and this made that the inmate was not a Brahmin.
He called him a Jihadi and said that the person has plans to kill him. In a statement, Shambu Lal said, if that person is ready to give his life for his own religion, then he too is ready to give his life for his own religion.

Shambu Lala added how he knows the thought process of Jihadi Bangladeshis and how he is concerned that these Jihadis ruin the lives of other people.
Above all this, the concern is how did the murderer get hold of a mobile phone inside the jail?
When the question was raised, the police said no phone or any device has been found after conducting a thorough search. But Regar said the police that it wasn’t his phone and didn’t like to reveal whose it is either.
