Right from beaten in the state elections of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand nothing is going well for the Congress party. The official Twitter handle of Congress got slammed by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee’s daughter, Sharmistha Mukherjee.

Yes, there is a valid reason for this. She lashed out over a tweet which had a photo of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and President Pranab Mukherjee.

The caption written by the official Twitter handle of Congress was “Shri Rajiv Gandhi and Pranab Mukherjee, in 1985”.

Indian President’s daughter got upset for not using Shri in front of her father’s name. She tweeted, “At least have the courtesy to add ‘Shri’ before Pranab Mukherjee as he happens to be the current President of India”

Just as her tweet went viral, the tweet was deleted by the Congress’ official Twitter handle.
