The debate about nationalism has received a wide variety of reactions from across the country. Recently, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor shared a post on Facebook that gives us some insight into the new wave of Indian nationalism. And the post has all the good reasons to make us think about the India we know and the India we live in.

Tharoor shared the post on his Facebook page as if echoing his thoughts on how forced national pride really won’t get us anywhere. A couple of days back, the Congress leader alleged Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the decision in zeal, but the real ground work which should have been done was missing.
