Watch Video: Shiv Sena MP Beats A 60-Year-Old AI Staffer On Flight, Threatens To Kill Him
What happened inside an Air India plane on Thursday has shocked the nation. Lok Sabha MP from Osmanabad in Maharashtra Ravindra Gaikwad hit 60-year-old airline staffer Surendra Kundu ’25 times’ with his slippers.
The MP has assaulted the 60-year-old man just because the airline did not accommodate him in business class. If that was not enough, he even bragged about how he hit the Air India staffer 25 times with his sandal.

In the video, you can clearly see that he hits the 60-year-old man and even looks unapologetic about it afterward.
The stewardess can be seen telling the MP: “Aap toh role model hain sir. Aap fenk denge toh murder case ho jayega na, sir (You are a role model sir. If you throw him down, it will be a murder case, sir)”.
MP Gaikwad, in reply, says,
“Hone do na, bahut cases hai hamare upar (Let it happen, there are many cases against me.”
She even tries to remind him how he is a Member of Parliament, a representative of people and it is beneath him to behave like this.
But he still does not budge from his high pedestal. At one point he even brags about the number of cases he has against him.
For the record, the goon MP has 7 serious criminal cases against him, on charges of rioting, wrongful restraint, assaulting a government servant, physical assault and criminal intimidation.
On Thursday, two separate complaints were lodged with Delhi Police against Gaikwad: one by R Sukumar, the 60-year-old contractual employee of Air India who was assaulted, and another by a senior manager on behalf of the airline for delaying the aircraft’s onward journey to Goa by 40 minutes. No case has been registered yet.
Also, the MP Ravindra Gaikwad admitted that he hit the staff. “I hit him with my sandal 25 times. Do you expect me to hear their abuses quietly?” Gaikwad said.
