Steve Smith Eyeing Up A New Job During His One Year Ban

♦Steven Smith who once acclaimed as the best Australian batsman since the greatest of all, Don Bradman hasn’t had the best times recently.

Smith has admitted he knew about the plan for opener Cameron Bancroft to use sandpaper on the ball.Bancroft has been banned by Cricket Australia for nine months, while Smith and vice-captain David Warner, who was labelled the mastermind of the saga, are both banned for 12 months.
Former Australia skipper Steve Smith, who is banned for a year for his involvement in the recent ball-tampering incident in South Africa, who can also not lead the side for another 12 months after his ban elapses.

CEO of Fox Sports, Patrick Delany in a recent interview said that “All I know is our team will look young and inclusive. But there’s nothing wrong with a bit of grey hair in that. Never underestimate the power of wisdom. We’re not ruling out anyone,”
He further added “When it happened we all got together and said we’ve known Steve for a long time. He’s been on our books for many years and we should stand by him”.
Smith, the top ranked Test batsmen might get some breathing space with this Commentary stint.
