Tabu Joins The Cast Of Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’ After Priyanka Chopra!

Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Bharat’ is probably the most major and most determined film that he has ever done to date. The film which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar also has Priyanka Chopra and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. And now, Tabu has joined the cast as well to them. Initially, Ali Abbas Zafar has welcomed Disha Patani, Priyanka Chopra, and Salman Khan into the film ‘Bharat’ via the twitter post on May 16th which states that-

“Welcome @DishPatani to the journey of @Bharat_TheFilm @BeingSalmanKhan @priyankachopra”

Then later, recently he has posted something interesting thing about this film i.e. about Tabu who are going to work together for the film ‘Bharat’. He announced this via another Twitter post which states that-

“Finally it’s happening , so excited to work with you 🙂 lots of love @tublb 🙂 @Bharat_TheFilm @BeingSalmanKhan @priyankachopra @DishPatani @WhoSunilGrover”

The director, Zafar made the announcement on social media. In a statement, he said, “I’ve been a huge fan of Tabu’s work and always wished to work with her. After several meetings with her, I’m happy it is finally happening with Bharat and am looking forward to the shoot.” Zafar will be directing Tabu for the first time in Bharat, which is a remake of the Korean film, Ode To My Father. He has earlier worked with Salman in ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, and with Priyanka too in the film titled ‘Gunday.’

Salman and Tabu last worked together in the film ‘Jai Ho’, where they played as siblings. Prior to this, they have also starred in films like ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ and ‘Biwi No. 1’. Disha Patani will play the role of a trapeze performer in Bharat. In Bharat, Salman will sport five different looks, as the film spans over sixty years. His ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ movie look will be recreated as well. Bharat is expected to release on Eid, next year i.e. in 2019.
