Tamannah Demanded A Huge Amount To Perform At The IPL Ceremony

Indian Premier League held its opening ceremony at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai with some spectacular performances of Varun Dhawan, Prabhu Deva, Tamannah, Jacqueline Fernandez and Hrithik Roshan. Tamannah was seen shaking leg along Prabhu Deva and she performed 4 songs from the film industries she had worked in. Do you know how much Tamannah had charged for her 10minutes performance this IPL?

She charged a whopping 50lakhs for her performance from the IPL organisers. She danced gracefully at the event and also said that she was very nervous and excited at the same time while performing in the Indian Premier League.

“Before this, I have never performed for a sports event and of course, when you are on stage there is a certain feeling of nervousness and excitement. As a performer, the feeling of enacting in a huge stadium and feel the energy of the audience will be completely different.”

“I am excited because there is no better sports event than IPL to perform. We are all crazy about cricket and it’s the opening night,” said Tamannaah.

She talked about the songs she will be performing at the ceremony and gushed saying,

“Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad feel like my own because I belong to all these cities. This time, my performance is going to be on four songs in four languages. There is Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and a Hindi song. So it goes out to pretty much the whole of India.”

Tamannah increased her fan base after her role in the movie Baahubali as “Avantika.” She has a huge fan following down south and she surely grabbed the attention of the people all over the country with her IPL performance.

Tamannaah has worked alongside Ajay Devgn in the movie “Himmatwala” but that movie didn’t do any good to her career in the Bollywood industry. Let’s see if Tamannah will get any offers from B-town after her splendid performance at Wankhede.
