The Telangana CID arrested 52-year-old Shaik Raheem alias Ramesh from the city outskirts. CID sources said that “Shaik Raheem contacted 14 students in Telangana and AP assuring them that he had the original question papers and collected Rs 1.73 crores in cash from the 14 students.”

Framing new questions biggest task for Eamcet 3:

With Eamcet-III imminent, the new Convenor and the Chairman of the examination now face a big challenge of identifying new examiners to set the question papers ensuring that they don’t repeat questions from AP-Eamcet, TS-Eamcet-I, TS-Eamcet-II and also the Eamcets of 2014 and 2015.

JNTUH Vice-Chancellor Venugopal Reddy is under consideration for appointing Convener for Telangana EAMCET-3. Registrar Yadaiah is also under consideration as he has been serving as Convener for ECET from so may years and Telangana government is thinking Yadaiah as his vast experience is helpful in completing the EAMCET-3 as per the schedule.
