In an unfortunate incident, a man was killed after being hit by a speeding tempo in Subhash Nagar area in Delhi. Police said, the victim, identified as Matibool, a resident of Bengal, lay bleeding on the road for close to one hour before they reached the spot.

The tempo driver got off his vehicle immediately to take a look at the injured man. But instead of taking him to a hospital, he got back into his tempo and drove away.

What is more shameful is that as he lay unconscious, one passer-by stole his phone and went away. The accident took place around 5:30 AM but was reported only around 7 AM. A police official reached the spot and rushed the victim to hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.

Police later found some documents in Matibool’s pocket that helped in ascertaining his identity.

“We contacted his colleagues at the company where he worked as a guard. They told us that Matibool had completed his night shift and left for home around 5 am,” said an officer.

It looks like there is no humanity left in this world 🙁
