Imagine showing off your ‘talent’ and ending up as a joke because it didn’t work out well. Sad, no? But what happened with these people will make you feel more like laughing than feeling bad. Syrian rebel accidentally blows himself and his comrades up by taking a selfie with a phone rigged to an explosive.

This video shows a group of jolly terrorists singing around a bonfire of guns when one of them realizes that their party would remain incomplete without a selfie. The eight men are seen sitting in front of a rebel flag as they sing into a microphone, with two rifles propped up in front of them. What he didn’t realize was that the mobile phone was the trigger for a bomb they must’ve assembled. Watch the video here.

The 30-second clip shows one of the men picking up a phone and holding it up to take a picture of him and the other rebels. The camera falls to the floor following the blast, with flames and smoke filling the room as some men are seen jumping over the equipment in an attempt to escape. A number are heard shouting “Allahu Akbar” as they flee. It is not known whether anyone was injured or killed in the explosion.
