This Man Has Been Arrested More Than 50 Times And The Reason Behind This Will Shock You!

Usually, when someone is taken into custody, we focus on their alleged crime. Some crimes are impulsive, some are well-planned and executed, and some are very brutal. But sometimes, crimes are executed for some weird reasons that you might not be able to believe them at first.

One such weird criminal is Vincent John who has committed quite strange offenses for which he has been arrested for more than 50 times.

This 59-yr old man allegedly cheated more than 300 hotel owners by absconding after having a free lavish stay at their expensive hotels.

Around 30 yrs back, he worked in Puducherry as a tourist guide where he used to take tourists to hotels and in return, enjoy a free stay plus commission and perhaps from here, he had developed an obsession for the free stay in expensive hotels.

This is what a police official stated, as per The Hindu,

Once he had an argument with the owner of one such hotel over non-payment of commission. That, he alleged, changed the course of his life.

Mostly, culprits choose the path of redemption after being punished but this was not the case with John. According to a report by IndianExpress, police said that John has been arrested more than 50 times in the past. That’s almost an arrest for every year that he has lived.

John was recently released from a Kerala jail in the month of October. Just a month later, he duped the owners of Radisson Hotel in Dwarka for an unsettled bill of ₹49,000.

He has been arrested yet again at the Hotel Crowne Plaza in Okhla and Deputy Commissioner of Police Surender Kumar shared this statement.

He admitted to having stayed in more than 300 four-star and five-star hotels across India and not paying dues in any of them. He also stole hotel valuables like laptops, LCD projectors, expensive liquor, cigarettes, hair dryers, etc., and left the hotels with his luggage prior to his scheduled departure.

Let’s hope that this time there will be some redemption. What do you have to say? Let us know your views in the comments section below.
