This Pune Techie Strangles His Wife To Death Over A Facebook Post , Then Commits Suicide
Despite the amazing progress in technology and resources, there are some drawbacks people of our and coming generations will face. The frequent exhibition of personal issues on facebook accounts is however, intolerable. But, Rakesh Balasaheb Gangurde, a software professional in a fit of rage, murdered his wife and then hung himself from the ceiling fan in their house in Hadapsar.
This incident is quite out of limits, according to the sources, the couple got married four years back, both of them were highly educated. While Rakesh worked in an IT firm as an engineer, his 28year old wife Sonali Rakesh Gangurde was a housewife.
The couple, however, had some personal health issues regarding having kids and are going through treatment. The fact that Sonali was sharing her problems and the remedies that she was undergoing for them on Whatsapp and Facebook with her friends irritated Rakesh.
Running out of patience, this angry husband, on January 17th midnight decided to end things once and for all. He suffocated Sonali with a pillow and then hung himself with a nylon rope.
After being informed by his mother about sister Sonali not lifting the phone, Harshal Mahendra Pawar (25), works in a company in the city, lives with his elder brother in a house in Pashan, found out what had happened when he went to visit his sister.
