Women harassment in Bollywood, We all are well aware of casting couches, Where innocent women with bigger dreams are used, abused, raped and what not, This is not any sudden change in Bollywood, This kind of women abuses happened in the first generation as well, But this news is shocking in fact very disturbing … A 6 years child is abused by none other than her guardian in outdoor shootings…

Maybe we are not that much aware of the name Daisy Irani, But our father’s generation must be knowing her as one of the most popular Child Artist during the years of the 1950s and 1960s, She recently revealed some shocking secres about her life. The actress accused her guardian that she was sexually abused by her guardian at the age of 6 while they were filming Hum Panchhi Ek Dal Ke (1957). This is how she explained the situation, That was an outdoor shoot, “The man who did this was supposed to be my guardian. He accompanied me to a film shoot (Hum Panchhi Ek Dal Ke) in Madras. One night in the hotel room he violated me, hit me with a belt and warned me that he would kill me if I ever told anyone about what had happened.”

Daisy is a maternal aunt of Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar, The last time she made an appearance on silver screen was in Shahrukh Khan starer Happy New Year, She played the character of Boman Irani’ss mother in that movie. She was well known for her roles as a child artist, And it is very sad to hear that at such tender age she had to face abuse.

It’s not the first time we are hearing about women abuse in Bollywood, But child abuse..? This is something which should be taken very seriously, It took her 60 years, to speak the truth out, We can’t even imagine how many cases which never seen the light.
