In a horrible incident, a group of men has thrashed two transgender people. The incident took place in Nayakguda, Malkangiri District, Odisha. The transgender was brutally assaulted by the villagers.

According to the reports, the transgender people were begging in a bus on the way to Malkangiri from Mathili. As few men on the bus refused to give money to them, the transgender people apparently cursed the passengers which led to the brutal act.

The passengers and the villagers thrashed the transgender people with mercy and tore their clothes.

Later, the transgender community has warned if the accused are not arrested within 24 hours, they would start a protest against the Malkangiri Collector and Chief Minister.

The government officials ordered a probe into the incident and take action on the accused soon.
