Truecaller, developed by the Swedish company helps to find contact details by providing the name and mobile number from all over the world. Recently, Truecaller for Android users has updated with an all-new Block section so that users can manage their block list easily. A bugfix has also been included the updated app which addresses the issue that disabled the mark SMS as reading functionality at times. According to a report, Truecaller is discontinued by its team, on windows phone version. To recall, in September 2015 for Windows 10 Mobile, Truecaller app was released, that offered a lot of features to its users like offline caller ID support and profile pictures of identified callers.

 

With the latest deed, the bandwagon has been joined by Truecaller app which has added Slack recently. yet last month, Windows Phone support was ended by Microsoft for its Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, and Yammer apps.

Android version 9.4.10 supports updated Truecaller which offers a new Block section so that users can manage contacts in the simple way which was blocked using the app.
The bug is also fixed by the updated Truecaller app which was affecting the functionality to mark SMS messages as read. one can download the updated Truecaller for Android version 9.4.10 via google play. size of this app is 26MB that requires at least Android 4.1. Unlike the updated features debuting on Android, the Truecaller team is set to put the Windows Phone version of the caller ID app to rest by discontinuing its support.

The discontinuation of Truecaller from the Windows phone had been confirmed on Twitter by its team.
On Truecaller Help account it was tweeted that on developing Windows 10 Mobiles were stopped focusing by the Microsoft that is why its support was discontinued and they also felt sorry about that, as they twitted.
Though the Truecaller app was listed on the Microsoft Store, The app was not available for download any longer.
A feature ‘Who Viewed My Profile’ was reintroduced by this app and there was added a Private Mode for Pro subscribers in the previous week.
Currently, The Indian payments app Chiller was also acquired by this Sweden-based company, In order to become much more stronger in the digital payments segment. Recently Truecaller Pay 2.0 was also launched and over 100 million users are active on this contact finding app Truecaller from all over the world.
