TV Channel In The Philippines Is Being Sued After Broadcasting A Pirated Copy Of The “Avengers: Endgame”

A TV channel in the Philippines is currently being sued for broadcasting a pirated copy of the “Avengers: Endgame”, which is considered as the most anticipated movie this year, the movie is also shattering almost every record in the box office records.

Reports suggest that a pirated copy of the movie was shown on Orient Cable, a local TV cable provider in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.

Orient Cable is currently facing a lawsuit that is brought forward by Teatro de Dapitan, the authorized movie firm that is broadcasting the movie in the Philippines.

When Teatro de Dapitan caught the illegal doings of the local Tv provider, they went to the police right head, and as a result to what the firm did, the cable company had an empty 2-hour slot to be filled.

The movie cable company then aired one more pirated movie, which is “Captain Barbell” a Filipino superhero movie.

Chembeelyn Alpeche-Balucan, the lawyer of Teatro de Dapitan said that they are going to pursue legal actions against the company.

The movie is currently being called as the most successful movie in the box office cinema.

The movie has crushed almost every record in Hollywood, Endgame is also the first movie ever to gross $1 Billion USD in one week.

As a matter of fact, it only took 5 days for the Avengers: Endgame to gross $1 Billion USD worldwide.
