Twitter Cannot Stop Trolling Baba Ramdev’s Latest Magazine Cover Picture
Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has always been in the news for many reasons – his yoga, Patanjali products, etc. After making headlines for performing yoga to the music of Kailash Kher, the yoga guru now again hit the headlines when the leading Indian magazine ‘India Today’ has sprung a surprise with its cover art on Baba Ramdev for the story Power Yoga.
Baba Ramdev graced the cover of India Today for their latest issue, with the cover line “Power Yogi”and the strapline: “How Baba Ramdev discovered commerce and turned spirituality on its head to emerge as a political, economic and cultural superbrand.” The cover features a loin-clothed Ramdev, bent over in one of his famous asanas – with his face between his legs.
As soon as the magazine tweeted out its cover photo, Twitterati couldn’t help but react to it in the funniest way possible, as expected. Here are some of the best ones.
Some people fixed the photo, putting Ramdev in more appropriate surroundings and scenarios.
