Rio Olympics was disappointing for India as far as the medal tally goes but there were some performances worth remembering such as Dipa Karmakar, Abhinav Bindra, Manish Singh, Dattu Bhokanal and Lalita Babar.

Badminton player PV Sindhu won a silver medal while wrestler Sakshi Malik won a bronze medal for the country and both of them can be seen in various felicitation ceremonies which are being held to reward their efforts.

One more athlete who was also a part of such ceremonies despite not being able to win a medal is gymnast Dipa Karmakar and this irked one of the fans of shooter Abhinav Bindra.

Abhinav Bindra narrowly lost out on a medal at the Rio Olympics, finishing fourth in the final round.

All’s good. He gave his best. We should applaud his hard work and dedication he put in for the past 4 years to qualify and compete among the best in the world.

But One Twitter user even stooped down to the level of trying to humiliate him with this tweet –

First thing is that it’s FELICITATIONS and not FACILITATIONS Jasdeep. Secondly, this type of question may have troubled a common man but Abhinav is full of sportsman spirit and his reply is pure gold !!

Soon, Twitter flooded with praises and appreciation for the shooter after the great response that he gave! It takes a lot of maturity, self-restraint, and humility to deal with a complete idiot in such a civilized way. And then, let’s not forget the fact that he is a gold medallist!
