UPTET Notification On 15.09.2018, Exam Date – Oct 2018, Latest News: Uttar Pradesh Basic Examination Board, UPBEB has finally released this year’s (2018) Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) Examination Schedule online on an official website. Reportedly, UPTET 2018 Application Form is going to start from September 17, 2018, with notification released a couple of days earlier on 15th September 2018. Besides, the last date to apply online will be October 3, 2018, and candidates will be able to make payment of their UPTET 2018 Registration Fees and Application Fees one day later i.e. upto October 4, 2018.
For Physically Handicapped Candidates, Uttar Pradesh Basic Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad has finalised to waive off the fees. Side by side, Rs. 200/- and Rs. 400/- respectively will be charged from Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates and General/ Other Backward Class Candidates respectively. Last year, 11.11 per cent candidates only qualified the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility test and were awarded UPTET Qualification Certificate which would be valid until five years from the date of declaration of online results.
Recently released notification on an official website of UPBEB has also confirmed that on 28th October 2018, UPTET written test (pen paper test) will be organised across four-digit examination centres of the state. And, almost 3-4 weeks or a month later, UPTET Result will be announced on an official website. To be clarified, Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test will only be held to give qualification certificates. Rather, no job is guaranteed by just taking UPTET 2018 Examination. What candidates can do is just to take other recruitment and vacancy tests for UPTET once this is successfully passed.
Last Year, UPTET Examination was held successfully across 1634 examination centres on 15th October 2017. In this examination, 3,49,192 candidates registered for primary level and 6,27,568 candidates registered for upper primary examination level. Out of which, for upper primary and primary level examination, 5,31,712 and 2,76,636 candidates appeared. Precisely, 7.87% candidates qualified for upper primary level and 17.34% candidates have qualified for primary level.
Filling up of OMR Sheets in the right manner is extremely important for the candidates. Why? Because the last year 1000 candidates were declared invalid because of wrong information in the OMR Sheet at the time of result declaration on December 15, 2018.
