There has been a lot of debate on the ways and means of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) in Delhi University. The violence inflicted on students at Ramjas College created a clear row between the political wing of RSS, ABVP and other Delhi University students.

Recently, the DU student, Gurmehar Kaur started a campaign against this violence and was shut down by trolls and supporters of ABVP.

Yes, she started her campaign against the violent activities of ABVP that they carried out in the Ramjas College. But the 20 years old DU student was trolled, got threats of rape and attracted disgraceful comments for expressing her opinion. Even more amazingly, some celebrities were also indulged in trolling her.

While the protests against this unlawful act continue, an old video of ABVP student threatening a college dean has gone viral.

In the video, you can clearly see ABVP’s student leader and DUSU’s ex-President, Satender Awana, who was one of the more active ABVP members in this whole fiasco, openly threatening the Dean of Law Faculty.

We can say Satender Awana was justified in his place to retaliate against any wrong decision made by the Dean. But, the way he is giving open threats to a teacher that too in front of the Police is WRONG!

While threatening the Dean, he should have remembered that he belongs to a political establishment that prides itself with India’s past. The most anti-national thing today is threatening your own people, giving women rape threats, disrespecting the law and order of the country and taking laws in your own hand.
