Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag And Other Cricketers Expressed Their Anger Against The Uri Terror Attack

Militants attacked an Indian Army brigade headquarters in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri on Sunday, killing 17 soldiers and injuring 19 soldiers in the most deadly attack in the northern region of Kashmir. Thus, reacting to the incident, the Current and the former cricketers have criticized the terrorist attack.

The whole country was in sorrow as the nation lost its brave soldiers. The attack has infuriated many as we saw it on the social media yesterday. Many demanded a strong revenge against the terrorists to teach them a lesson who took advantage of India’s decency and diplomatic approach.

Current and former sportspersons didn’t keep calm and took to the micro-blogging site to strongly oppose the act by the terrorists. India’s Test Captain Virat Kohli was unhappy and expressed his feelings and emotions on the attack.

One of the active users of Twitter Virender Sehwag also reacted to the incident and wrote his painful feeling about India losing brave soldiers.

Many other cricketers Gautam Gambhir, Mohammad Kaif and Manoj Tiwary raised their voice against the attack.

The four terrorists who attacked the Indian Army Headquarters were shot down by the Army personnel after a 3-hour gun battle. According to the initial findings, the terrorists are said to be from Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Muhammad and had come from across the LoC.
