Prime Minister Narendra Modi bowed down and touched the feet of 93-year-old Parkash Singh Badal, the leader of the Akali Dal, Mr. Badal traveled to Varanasi for the filing of his election papers on Friday.

In a video that surfed the internet earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen bowing down as he touched the feet of Prakash Singh Badal for blessings, he then went on to greet CM Nitish Kumar of Bihar, Uddhav Thackeray of the Shiv Sena, and AIADMK’s O Panneerselvam.

BJP Leader Amit Rakshit called it as the Picture of the year, he added, “Before filing nomination at Varanasi, PM @narendramodi touching feet of Prakash Singh Badal for blessings.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also did the same to 92-year-old Annapurna Shukla, a principal of a women’s college, she was one of the nominators of his nomination.

For the 2nd time, Prime Minister Modi is running from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

Yesterday, the Prime Minister did a roadshow in which thousands of people were gathered, he then went to Ganga River for Aarti to finish his day.
