PM Modi Does Not Forget To Take This Woman Whenever He Goes To Foreign Tours, Know Who Is She!
We won’t forget to pick every detail in the politician’s diplomatic sessions clicks. Everything they do in the sessions is seen carefully, millions interpret the people in the pictures and they seem quite focused on the acts of politicians. Now, don’t be taken aback if you see a serene Indian face sitting behind different world leaders at meetings of world importance at venues across the globe. Though you have a right to be surprised when you see her sit behind US President Trump one day, behind Canadian Trudeau the next and behind the Indian PM, Narendra Modi on another. Well, she is everywhere and she must be there with PM Modi.
She is none other than Gurdeep Kaur Chawla, an interpreter of international repute who now works with PM Modi, translating Modi’s words in the diplomatic sessions with other country leaders. She believes that there is hardly a minute of boredom when you are at meetings where ‘history is being made’, and we can’t agree more.
she is an alumnus of Delhi’s St Stephen’s College, she started her career as an interpreter in the Lok Sabha where she served for six eventful years translating through the reigns of PMs PV Narasimha Rao to Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Soon after shifting to the US, she started her own translation company. Her experience of working with politicians in India came to help when she was contacted to travel with President Obama to India. It was a cornerstone of her professional career as an interpreter of international repute. She didn’t turn back again, and that’s how she made her way directly to the seat beside honorable Prime Minister.
After her stint with President Obama, her services were engaged by India and Canada while she continued working for the US which is her home base now. With the kind of close exposure she has with the leading politicians, we have to believe that Chawla’s career choice not only allows her to witness history being made from extremely close quarters but also lets her have an insight into global politics access to which very few people have.
Moreover, everything we read and write about what Modi has said is simply the words spelled by him and translated by Chawla all the way, so, kudos to the lady for her impeccable art of work.
