Mercedes-Benz has come out with the A-Class sedan which was first showcased at the Beijing Motor Show this year and the company now has brought out a good teaser of the car. The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan shares its styling cues with added new-gen A-Class hatchback. The car was showcased early this year in the month of February. The new car looks a bit like the new CLS and to somewhat extent looks like a downsized version of the latter. But as of now, the company has been claiming that the car is the most aerodynamic one. The ‘world record is now with the A-Class Sedan with a Coefficient drag value of 0.22 and a drag of not more than 0.49 m2. The Cd value from 0.25, the new A-Class hatchback that surpasses its already excellent predecessor.

For being the most aerodynamic car is itself a set of perks. The most important thing the customer wants to see is the low fuel consumption under everyday conditions. The A-Class Sedan was optimized in such a way that the smallest detail was taken into consideration like multiplicity of computation loops, CAE simulations (computer-aided engineering) and also the measurements in the wind tunnel in Sindelfingen. Due to the small measure taken a new record was set up, a reduction of the frontal area despite significantly improving interior comfort dimensions, an extensive sealing concept (such as the sealing provided at the headlamp surroundings) and also the complete paneling of the underbody that includes the engine bay, main floor pan, other parts of the axle and the diffuser.

The A-Class from Mercedes-Benz also comes along with a sporty look in twin-5-alloy wheels in the sizes of 16 to 19 inches, new sleeker ORVMs which are integrated notchback and has the wheelbase of the hatchback (2729 millimeters) as well as the proportions of a compact saloon with short overhangs at the front and rear.

The cabin of sedan’s A-Class is largely identical to its hatchback counterpart with a well-equipped dashboard larger fully-digital instrument cluster paired with a fully-digital infotainment system. The dashboard also has features the signature rotor-like chrome air-con vents, a multi-functional new steering wheel, and a very smart-looking center console in the piano black finish.

The sedan model also comes with the MBUX multimedia system – Mercedes-Benz User Experience-with artificial intelligence, like the A-Class hatchback.
