World’s first robot, technically called as the pioneer of Humanoids, Sophia is often on news these days. She is now all set to accept the citizenship which will be granted by Saudi Arabia, just before this, Sophia visited India and the Internet is all over buzz regarding her speech on humanity and machines.

Sophia in her 20-minute appearance spoke about the “collaborative co-existence” which actually is marred by technical hiccups, she was seen saying that she was quite worried about growing intolerance in the world and advised the human race to be “kind” to fellow creatures. However, this was her maiden visit to India after making headlines to become the first robot in the world to be recognized as a citizen.

Coming to the conversation, it actually took place in an interview format, the humanoid said there should not be competition but a collaboration between humans and robots. Despite all this, the questions appeared as the pre-decided ones.

At the event, she is seen dressed in an off-white saree with an orange blouse, Sophia was a spectacle to watch, especially the way she addressed the gathering and panned her ‘neck’ with an upright gait, almost as if she was a human. Amidst all this, something that made the headlines is Sophia’s blunt rejection of a marriage proposal. When she came back to “life” and the curtains went up, she politely declined a marriage proposal from a Facebook user in awe of her beauty.

Answering to the many sections of people who were looking at technology as a “threat” to civilization, she said, “It is science which created me, but philosophy will take me forward”. When asked about the languages she is aware of, she cleared off that her age is two-years. and knows English and a bit of Chinese, adding that it was only a matter of time she knows all languages.
