It has been a while and we all can see the struggle Yuvraj Singh is going through to bag a place in Indian cricket team. He is a proven ace all-rounder and one of the bests India has ever got in the current cricket generation. Yuvraj has millions of fans throughout the country and his cricketing style is considered as one of the most trademarking ones in the cricket history.
With the tough competition going on right now his comeback looks almost impossible. Many believe that fitness is a major drawback that is dragging Yuvi’s career. He is undoubtedly one of the cleanest hitters India has ever seen and his performance during the 2007 and 2011 world cups is something which no one can ever forget.
As of now, his career is at the bleak of late or else it would have been illustrious. Yuvi is a player who has served India which such great passion and determination. Until now, Yuvi has played over 304 ODIs and has scored 8701 runs. He even did his best in 40 tests and 58 T20Is For India.
Though Yuvi managed to make a brief comeback in 2016 in the limited overs’ innings, that didn’t last long. Now as the time isn’t going too well for him, he finally opened up on the retirement plans. Despite the absence, what all Yuvraj has done these days is a tale of inspiration to everyone. Be it on the field or off the field, he is always an unprecedented champion of India.
When asked about his retirement plans, Yuvi went saying, “Commentating is not my forte. Cancer is going to be my area of work in the future. I love supporting young kids, I like interacting with the younger generation. Coaching is in my mind. I would identify underprivileged kids and focus on their sport and education. Education is as important as a sport. You need to focus on both. Sport should not come at the cost of education”.
Well, that is so good to hear from the man of sixes.
