Gurgaon: Man Rapes His Live-In Partner’s Adopted Child

The police in Noida charged a man from Gurgaon who raped the adopted daughter of his live-in partner, the girl was 16-years-old. The report was filed on Wednesday.

The 16-year-old girl is from Assam who escaped from their house last month from Gurgaon, she arrived in Noida and is currently staying at a shelter home.

The 16-year-old girl was adopted by her neighbors after her real parents passed away in Assam. The couple who adopted her moved to Nepal and moved to Gurgaon afterward, where they got separated.

The police say said that the girl and the woman who adopted her stayed with the man.

A police official said: “It was there that the girl was sexually assaulted multiple times by the man. Last month, she fled Gurgaon with the help of a man who brought her to the shelter home in Noida.”

On Wednesday, a charge sheet was filed in the Noida Sector 39 Police Station, the man was charged under the IPC section 376 (rape) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

The policemen from the Noida Sector 39 said that an investigation is now being done in the case.
