Actor Soha Ali Khan is an avid social media user and she often takes to Twitter to share about her films, new projects and of course candid moments.

Soha Ali Khan, the daughter of cricketing legend Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore, was thrashed on social media with some vicious comments because she visited a Ganpati pandal.

Recently, when the actor posted a picture of her seeking blessings at a Ganpati Pandal in Mumbai, she was attacked by social media bullies who hurled abuses at her, and posted nasty comments, questioning her religious beliefs and calling her non-Muslim.

This is what happens when people get bored. They log-in on social media, look for a target and shoot it with their acerbic remarks. They’re so jobless and sick of breathing that all they do is sit and find faults in everything around them, like those aunties who are forever unhappy with the world.

However, this isn’t the first she had to go through something like this. She faced similar treatment on social media when she visited Golden Temple as well.

Despite such hate comments on her post, Soha Ali Khan didn’t lose her cool and gave back to the trollers in the most dignified way.

In an interview with Mid-day, she said,

“My Religion Is My Business Alone. Whether I Choose To Do Namaz Or Go To A Church, How Does It Affect Anyone? People Shouldn’t Bother About What’s Not Their Business.

I Am All For Freedom Of Expression, But Being Told How Going To A Temple Makes Me A Non-Muslim Is Plain Callous. No One Has The Right To Say That. I Am Not A Commodity And So, A Particular Community Cannot Own Me. Our Social Fabric Is So Rich Because We Are Diverse. Respect Each Other’s Choices.”

There, she made her point loud and clear! Trollers, back out!
