Huge Humpback Whale Found Dead In The Middle Of The Amazon Jungle

A humpback whale that is 36-feet-long was found in the middle of the Amazon Jungle on Friday, this surprised the heck out of the wildlife experts and the people who saw the posts on almost every social media platform. The 36-feet-long humpback whale was found in the Brazilian Island of Marajo which is at the mouth of the Amazon River, the whale was found 15 meters away from the ocean.

An NGO worker from the Bicho D’agua Institute on Marajo Island said that the humpback whale could have been dead when it was washed up on the shore during the high tides and got stuck in the mangroves.

Renata Emin a Marine Life Expert said that  “We’re still not sure how it landed here, but we’re guessing that the creature was floating close to the shore and the tide, which has been pretty considerable over the past few days, picked it up and threw it inland, into the mangrove.”

Renata Emin added, “Along with this astonishing feat, we are baffled as to what a humpback whale is doing on the north coast of Brazil during February because this is a very unusual occurrence.”

The photos of the humpback whale went viral on social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and got tons of comments, shares, and reactions.

A team is now collecting blood samples from the whale which will help them determine how the whale died.
